What is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)?
A person with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in counseling/ psychology and 3000 hours of supervised counseling experience who has met all the requirements set by the State of Texas to diagnose and treat psychological problems.
What is a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner (CBP)?
A person with a minimum of BodyTalk™ modules 1 and 2 training, 50 hours practical experience and completion of the International BodyTalk Association™ Certification Examination. Our BodyTalk Practitioners have completed all 9 nine advanced BodyTalk™ modules.
What is a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT)?
A person who has met the requirements set by the professional organization issuing the certification, as little as one weekend of instruction. No formal training in counseling or psychology is required. At Connections of BodyMind only Licensed Professional Counselors use hypnosis. We do not use 'hypnotists'.
What is a Thought Field Therapy™ Diagnostician (TFTdx)?
A person with diagnostician level advanced training from Roger Callahan, PhD, the developer of Thought Field Therapy™. Only Licensed Professional Counselors use TFT in our facility.
What is National Board Certification (NCC)?
A person with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in counseling/psychology from a CACREP accredited university program who has passed the National Certification Exam and met the requirements set by the National Board for Counselor Certification.
